Attended 2 shows in New York last week which were spectacular. Unfortunately in my opinion Bono "mailed this performance in". The show started strongly but soon stumbled w/ sound & mix issues, questionable song selection & Bono's voice & body looking tired.I'm the guys bigs fan-but he flat out didn't have it on Sunday. It's the first show i can remember that during "Where Street have No Name" he didn't run the stage to pump the crowd. Philly crowd as usual was pumped anyway. I can handle a few words about his foundation but his preaching + slower songs sank the set. "Running to Stand still + "I will Follow" shook the Wachovia in May-would have loved to hear them or "New Years Day". It's been a long tour-what can you do. The Edge was outstanding! Even on a bad night-U2 is still among the best.
