My first time ever on the floor...and I got into the Ellipse !!!!! So for the whole show, I got to be six feet from the stage! And what a show to attend. The band was tight and clearly in a giddy mood, probably knowing that a special guest was going to join them on stage. I Will Follow and Electric Co and some great energy tonight, Bono gives a touching background story to Miss Sarajevo, and a really funny line before Fast Cars (here is song we've been playing for a week, most people don't know it...and four of us don't either!!!) But of course, Bruce and Patti joining the band on stage was just priceless!!!! Bono flirting with Patti in front of Bruce was just too much! Then Bono says that the band is not a "jamming" band, saying he has no idea how to end "People Get Ready". Patti stepped in, very cool and led everyone off the stage, with only Bruce and Larry to end the song. I have some great pics, will download those tomorrow.
AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
