My first U2 show ever and my ticket scans us into the ellipse! The Three M's have made it to the Promised Land...in more ways than one. We're 3 or 4 people from the rail, dead center in front of Larry's kit. Come on 9:00...I'm shaking with anticipation and then there they were...Larry brought the gun show, Adam brought his pearly whites, Edge brought his flamin' fingers and Bono brought his beauty (voice, soul and body). You could feel it...this was special. It was a regular love fest between the band and us...it was pulsating. Okay, all you crazed U2 fans out there, I get it. I totally get it now. Just when I though it couldn't possibly get any better...Miss Sarajevo...Pride...Streets...One. Next thing I knew, we were pleading for the encore we KNEW would come but we had not idea this beautiful package would be tied in a neat little bow with BRUCE sitting pretty right on top! We had truly entered the Promised Land.
