WOW!!!!!! What Else Can I Say? First of all, my dad (see Joe S.) & I are U2 Superfans. However we love The Boss too!!!! So I guess it all came together perfectly last night. i'm 11 (not joking) and have already seen them 3 times (see May 14 for my other review) and on Elevation Leg 3 on November 3,2001 which was awesome too.
SONG OPINIONS (my top 4)
Sunday, Bloody Sunday- PERFECTO!!!!! the 'War'
track sort of reminded me of "UNDER A BLOOD RED SKY" movie. The Edge Was picture perfecto I Should Say.
I Will Follow/ Electric Co.- Brilliant. absolutely 100% brilliant. I Will Follow was first played on this tour on June 27 in Croake Park (Dublin). then it cut away immediately to "The Electric Co." without "Cry"
People Get Ready- U2 & Bruce together was.....
TIMELESS!!! UNFORGETTABLE!!!! AWESOME!!!!! SOMETHING TO REMEMBER 2o YEARS FROM NOW!!!!!
anyhow basically what happened was Bono Yelled out We Really Need A Guitar Player and Bruce
Shows Up out of nowhere. WOAH!!!
One- it was really a shocker that instead of doing any other Achtung Baby track, they did Walk On, which was magical. I Love Walk On, and it was a pleasure without a doubt to hear it again on this tour (Remember Elevation?) anyways one was beautiful. at least 18,000 people with cell phones "LIGHTING UP THE WORLD" as Bono Puts it.
Damian Marley was not good. THE SOUND STUNK ON ICE!!!! I LOVE BOB MARLEY THOUGH. damian talked WAY too fast.
