Wow what a concert!
Before the show U2 did an hour-long soundcheck of new songs, and it was amazing to listen to.
The layout of the ground had a huge space beween the floor-seats and the stands, and when Pop Muzik came on the speakers thousands of people dashed madly from the further away seats down onto the ground - it was madness, and it set the scene for a rocking show.
Melbourne has always been a good city for U2 and the fans proved that tonight, all 30,000 of them. Bono's voice was the strongest I've ever heard, singing brilliantly on Pride and Bad, and the sound mix was just incredible. So, in all, a great show!
