My first ever U2 show, an amazing pre-show sense of anticpation. We were in a good 5 hours before the band were due on, such was the buld-up.
The moment "Television" started pumping out over the speakers, me & my mate went nuts (and got a few strange looks from those who did not know). The crowd surge when Zoo Station kicked off must have hurled us 20 yards nearer the stage. Great to hear Zooropa on one of the few occasions they played it live.
They played "I Will Follow" on the 'B-stage' in the middle of the stadium which led to another huge surge...but also meant the rest of the show was played out with us barely having room to breathe on the pitch.
All round a good show and will always remember this as my first U2 show, but the final night at Wembley on Zoo TV & the Elevation shows were much much better.
