there i was, coming in from Amsterdam at 8 am. Taking the tube to Wembley and arrived at about 10 or so.
After hours of waiting the gates went open and we all started running, but we were slowed down by stewards.....
anyway, the boys were in great shape, Wembley, fully packed with about 72,000, shook all the time and the music was hylarious. As from New Year's day it all went by like a dream, it all sounded so perpect. F#ck everybody who thinks Popmart wasn't good, it's all about the music. Why so upset that they do something else, at least they dare to live. And i have much respect for them for taking such a great risk. Not playing all your hits is leathal for some bands, but U2 can permit it, their full power and effort to survive makes them again the best band in the world.
I had the time of my life, why don't you all get a copy of their Kosovo, Sao Paolo, Chile or Mexico gigs.....? Live is where they live...!
