Ive just discovered this site so i hope ive got the right night, i believe it was a boiling hot saturday that id looked foreward to for months. Not seeing U2 since the joshua tree tour i was not sure what to expect. On entering the stadium i was worried about low flying aircraft clipping the top of the huge iluminated towers on stage and how any band could stand out amoungst this. I was wrong to worry as they rocked through the up-beat numbers and breezed through the ballads. The following Monday The Sun did a comparison that U2 played infront of 72,000 and Leo Sayer played infront of 400 down the road somewhere!! No offence Leo but the 400 missed out!! 18.06.03
