I was 16 years old at the time. Flying in from Miami, Florida with no ticket in hand did not keep me from being in the first row and seeing by far the best version of BAD ever performed. I found my self in a picture in the London Times the next day, came out in the recent DVD of Live Aid, and Im proud to say I have wonderfull pictures of the band ( specially Bono). I was fortunate enough to meet Bono outside the Miami arena a few years back and he signed for me a magazine picture of the Live Aid show where he and myself in the crowd come out clearly. He circled me and wrote down "SAVE THIS SPACE"
I will be attending the Vertigo show this November with my wife and my 11 year old son (one of 5 kids Im proud to have) to pass down the gift of U2 music to my heirs.
