Wembley last night hosted a spectactular U2 show. We were up high in the huge and impressive stadium and had a fantastic all-round experience of a band made for stadium rock. They have matured over the years, like a fine wine, and last night's set was a tight, professional and uplifting performance. It was almost like it was two gigs, as the band opened with four songs off the new album, but as soon as Beautiful Day and I Still Haven't Found What..kicked in the crowd exploded into life. The stage was amazing and during I'll Go Crazy...Bono remained on the main stage while the other three patrolled the outer circle to great affect - especially Larry on the drum. The songs are like friends and my highlights of City of Blinding Lights, Streets and a powerful Walk On gave me a top, top night!
