U2 will take the stage tonight -- minus Bono -- for a special performance in New York City marking World AIDS Day.
With Bono still recovering from his recent bike accident, "U2 Minus 1" will perform tonight in Times Square. That's what they're calling the band, which will consist of Edge, Larry and Adam along with guest vocalists Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin. Kanye West and Carrie Underwood are also due to perform at the event, which is being called "A (RED) Thank You presented by Bank of America."
The concert starts at 7:30 pm ET and will be broadcast live on YouTube and iHeartRadio. ESPN will also air a bit of it during the Monday Night Football pregame show. If you're in New York City, it's free to attend. See the U2.com article for details on location and where to enter.
