U2 is scheduled to appear on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon next week, likely on Friday, May 8th. The band is currently listed as an upcoming guest on the show's Guests page, but there's no specific date listed. The upper right of the page has a series of images of upcoming guests and their appearance dates -- it runs through Thursday, May 7, and U2 isn't listed there. But the Stereogum website says U2's appearance will happen next Friday, May 8. Stereogum says U2 will be the only guest appearing on the show that night.

U2 was due to spend an entire week on The Tonight Show back in November, but had to postpone the residency when Bono suffered serious injuries in a New York City bike accident. The band promised to make up that missed commitment, and it looks like they'll do that next Friday.
