After a couple weeks off, U2 is set to continue promoting Songs Of Innocence this month and one of the band's appearances will be a full week of performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon dropped the news during Monday's show. According to this blow-by-blow recap of the show, he told the audience, "U2 is coming back Monday, November 17, for an entire week!" The show's Twitter account also retweeted this comment/confirmation from a viewer during last night's show.

U2 has a brief history with Fallon, as you no doubt remember. The band performed "Invisible" and "Ordinary Love" back in February on Fallon's first night as Tonight Show host. The week-long run they're doing should be very similar to what U2 did in 2009, when they spent a week performing at the Ed Sullivan Theatre on The Late Show with David Letterman.

We expect there'll be additional performances and appearances in North America this month, and that it'll include an official announcement of a full tour in 2015.
