Y'all,
U2 did a fabolous peformance. Their messages put across are indeed inspiring.
Bono's message of "putting people before ideas" is very special, for a Toronto audience. I was happy to hear what Bono said tonite.
The performances of Vertigo and Elevation was disappointing. U2 needs to get back to the Elevation Tours, style of Elevation. I wish U2 did "Until the End of the World."
My favs of this concert, is definitely the last song Bad, which was amazing...I was blown away, by U2's blasting, pitchs...it was like deep breathe, being blown to the audience- ye..Bad was the sickest song..of tonite. Fly was great, the ending was amazing...Larry Mullun and The Edge, making sounds that I never heard in Rockn'Roll live music..it was crazy.
Just to add...my concern: I think U2 needs to come back with the Elevation Tour beats..and its R&B influence, with its music. U2 knows how to do it...I felt, this concert, is missing those sounds with Elevation, Vertigo, Bullet the Blue Sky, Sunday Bloody Sunday. U2 needs that old hook up again with The Clash and The Ramones...its great, when U2 keeps its roots lively in performance- i.e. Elevation Tour!
Overall, U2 still rocks...they are still the best rock band, on this planet. It makes sense, when you see them live...so, I definitely think it was worth to see the Irish Rockers, do their thing on stage.
peace out,
S.J.A.
