This was my first U2 show ever. Wow, I was completely blown away. I did not realize how incredibly rich Bono's voice is. Something is lost in a recording.
The crowd was louder than the band at certain points in the show. I could barely hear Bono at certain points during Beautiful Day. Bono got the crowd to sing on their own at the end of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. It was very powerful.
Far and away, the highlight of the night was Where The Streets Have No Name. The crowd was whipped into a frenzy as soon as The Edge began playing those first few notes after Pride. The crowd shouted along with Bono and when it was over, there was a minute-long roaring ovation. I was stunned.
Although it was a few songs shorter than the Monday night show, it was only about 20 minutes shorter. That extended version of Bad at the end was fantastic.
