Outstanding, I have seen this band play 16 times now and all I can say is simply Outstanding..but will say more.
This tour, like the last one has entrenched in my mind that this is one of the greatest rock n roll, soul, blues, and technically tight bands in the history of the genre. They have given rebirth to their Unforgettable Fire tour, this band lost me in the large stadium events of the Zoo TV & PopMart tours...but I am back and will be there again based on htis latest leg.
One song not reported on the set list is New Years Day, this song finally grabbed the attention of the audience, typical mid-week TO audience, but once they started off with the chords of NYD the place didnt stop jumping.
I had read that BAD was just not on their set-list, and when the Edge started to play those few chords....it was over. Not my best show ever, that was in March of 1985, however one of my best since then.
Great to see Larry and Andy getting more animated and involved in the theatre, and quite frankly this is a Guitar players tour and the Edge showed us not only how he can play...but how any following in their coat-tails SHOULD play
Well done Bhoys, Slainte
