The first encore consisted of The Fly followed by With or Without You (As WOWY was winding down, Bono searched for the girl dressed as a belly-dancer but couldn't find her. He kept trying to find her, which forced the band to keep the song going indefinitely. Eventually Bono gave up on trying to find the girl.).
The Second Encore was All Because of You, Yahweh, Bad and a mangled version of 40. At the start of the song, Bono located the girl dressed as a belly-dancer and sang to her while she stood next to the catwalk; Bono then left her, but towards the end of the song he brought her onto the catwalk and they danced.
As Bad wound down, and as Daniel Lanois was brought on-stage and given a guitar, Bono tried to begin "40" (He repeated sang "How long to sing this song..."), but the band couldn't figure a way to integrate Daniel Lanois into the song (maybe he didn't know the chords?), Bono kept singing portions of the Lanois song, "The Maker", which kept the audience from beginning the 40 sing-along and after 2 minutes, the band just ended the song abruptly, said "Goodnight," and walked off-stage.
