This is my first time seeing U2 and it was awesome. I've been a big fan of theirs for over 20 years and seeing them, finally was amazing!!
It was a girl's weekend with myself and two of my best girlfriends off to the big city of Toronto from New Brunswick to see the best band in the world. For two of us, it was our 'virgin' outing seeing U2, but for one of us, it was her 4th time. In fact, it was her idea to go and her hand that bought the tickets without consulting us that forced our hand in this expensive, but oh-so-worth-it venture. I highly recommend that everyone in their lifetime take a chance, spend the money and go see these amazing performers in concert.
Of course, Bono didn't disappoint. His voice reaches out to you to touch the very centre of your person and move you in a way that no one else can. His energy, his passion, his compassion, his love for the world, his love for mankind...it all comes out through his voice and makes you believe, if just for a second, that the world can be ok if we just try. Truly, an inspiration to all who are lucky enough to breathe the same air as he.
All in all...one of the most memorable nights of my life. Well worth the flight (I hate flying) to Toronto...I'd absolutely do it again!
