Miami was given a huge kiss by the band, and we kissed them back! Both Miami shows were great, but I think that last night was the the best...Bad ended the show!
The crowd at the AAA was even louder than the night before, an incredibly difficult feat! There were times that the band just stood there looking at the crowd like what are you guys on? Especially after Streets...Bono stood there several minutes just shaking his head, and smiling! What can I say....Miami loves U2!
The band shook up the set list from the night before, which was a huge treat for those of us who went both nights! Original of the Species was played instead of Miracle Drug, and it sounded beautiful. OOTS is my personal favorite from HTDAAB, I could not believe that I was acutally getting to hear it! The Electric Co. was incredible. The Edge tore up the guitar solo on that song...is there a better guitar play in the universe...I don't think so! They play UTEOTW & The Fly in the 1st encore with some graphics that reminded me of Zoo TV! The 3rd encore was a great thrill. The Edge & Bono played Walk On (accoustic). It sounded awesome...then when the song ended Bono had the audience chat Walk On...Walk On...Walk On. Then Adam & Larry came back out & The Edge played the first note of Bad...that did it for me! My favorite song ever....to end an awesome night...I had tears comming down with a grin from ear to ear!
The boys always say thank you for giving us a great life...well I want to say thank you for giving us such beautiful music...It has been the soundtrack of my life for the past 24 years...since I was 14...and I hope to see you live again very soon!
