What a show! The fact that these guys just walked out on the stage with the house lights on brought such a warm feeling to the crowd. I love good lighting, effects and all that jazz but there was something about the greatest band ever (and Bono...you do get my vote by the way) simply saying "hello charlotte" without a great big hollywood, bigger than life intro. It was as if Bono said "Hello (your name), we are here to play these songs for you"...and play their songs they did. Elevation was an incredible opener! Some other highlights were Where the streets have no name, she moves in mysterious ways, bad...heck...every song was a highlight. I loved with or without you...simply romantic. My friend and I decided at 3:00 that day of the concert to go...so we hopped into the car...drove three hours...spent over 300 dollars and do not regret it one bit! What a ride...what an awesome concert. Wished I could have heard "pride" and "grace" but i will just go pop in the CD...crank the volume and imagine myself listening to it in the collesium live...i will never forget it.
