This was my first U2 concert. I was a high school senior and went with some of my best girl friends...Randi, Virginia L. etc. We had 1st row seats in the mezzanine behind the stage. Since U2 did not have a big set then, the seats turned out to be awesome, because we were closer than most others in the arena. Bono even turned around to us several times during the show, and at times I felt he was looking at us. I remembered that he had a spotlight that he used alot during many songs. I knew all of the songs fron Boy, October, UFF...so it was a great sho for me.
My biggest memory that stands out from that show is that Bono dedicated 'Bad' and Amazing Grace to a girl from Mt. Lebanon (Beth ?) who died in a car accident that week (or that day?) before the show. I'll always remember that. Bono...and U2... they care about their fans.
