I had been waiting 9 months to see the concert and U2 didn't dissapoint! After reading some of the previous reviews I guess that being in the 300 section was the best place to be with the loudest U2 fans (aside from the lucky bums in GA).

I saw U2 in Mtl for the Elevation tour and that was electric and seeing them in Ottawa was just as electric for me....they have such an awesome songbook that there are so many great songs they could have selected for the playlist.

After the concert we just sat in our seats talking about the experience and we were amazed to see the efficiency with the stage crew and how quickly they were taking down the stage. Then walking out to the parking lot you could still feel the electricity as people were singing in their cars...singing as they walked to their cars....it was a great non-typical Ottawa atmosphere!!!!!

I really hope that U2 will come back to Ottawa (in less then 20 years) but if they don't it's still well worth the drive to Mtl. Next concert I'll go GA....

Arcade Fire was a terrific surprise, I'm getting their CD asap....I hope that the Vertigo tour signals the beginning of an even better career for the band.

Kudos to Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam....you all have such an amazing presence and energy...thanks for coming to see us in the Valley!
