A great great concert, and all the better for Bono for being so brave to go ahead with this despite the old man passing away.
Mind you, why some embarrasing people in the crowd felt like they had to cry over it is beyond me. Did they know Bob Hewson? Not only that but the old guy was 75 which is a good age by anyones standards. And to top it all off, Bono would openly admit he never really got on with his father so what were the idiots crying for? Sorry for the rant but its true.
Back to the concert though and U2 put on a hell of a show, Kite was just beautiful, 11 0 clock tick tock uplifting and the whole damn experience unbelievable. Great new video before Bullet and this is another great cause they are opening our eyes to.
I saw them in New York, Washington & Paris but these London shows have been something else. They have a special affinity with the city and Bono reminded the crowd that they used to live about 5 minutes from Earls Court in the early 80's. I just hope tonight can be even better (if thats possible!)
