Last nights show at Earls Court was the best gig I have ever been to.
I last saw U2 at Wembley Stadium on the 1993 Zooropa tour but this show blew all other gigs out of the water.
Bono has to be appluaded for keeping the show going despite the death of his father.
Technically the show was excellent, with the video screens and light effects never distracting from the music itself.
Bono's voice and the Edges guitar have never sounded so haunting while "Kite" and "One" were especially poignant.
The two hour set was good value as they played their greatest songs (unlike the Zooropa concert) and "until the end of the world" + "Sunday Bloody Sunday" & "Where the streets have no name" were powerful.
Highlights for me were: One, With or Without you, BAD and Walk On.
Nelly Furtado was ok but she was let down by a poor sound system.
