This was my first ever U2 concert, and was the most incredible experience of my life.
I have never been more mesmerised by anything ever before. I was enthralled from beginning to end, it was just fantastic song after fantastic song. Even though i was quite far away from the stage (in the front row of the back balcony directly facing the stage) I felt so close to everyone there, our hearts and minds were united.
'Kite' was heartwrenching and even made a few tears fall from my eyes, but when I heard the first few notes of 'Stay', my alltime favourite song, The tears were falling down my face simply because of the intense emotion in the atmosphere.
There were no lulls, every moment was breathtaking and I left the concert in a dazed state which lasted well into the next day.
I'd also like to express my imense admiration that I have for Bono, for carrying on the show at such a difficult time. I never cease to be amazed at the strength of character that he possesses.
If you ever get the chance to go to a U2 concert, don't pass it up. It is worth everything you have to give.
Thankyou U2. For this electric experience.
