I know this post is late, but I wanted to get one on here. It's great to read all the other ones! A concert a fan would want to relive again and again.
I purposely did not check the set lists for any of the previous concerts because I didnt want to be expecting anything and I was completely surprised and overjoyed!!
Being a U2 fan for a good 15 years I was sooo excited to hear some of their older tunes. When I heard the first beat of 'Bad' I almost wet my pants - I LOVE THAT SONG! I think I have watched that section of 'Rattle and Hum' about 100 times. Hearing Gloria, Bullet the Blue Sky and Sunday Bloody Sunday (which I thought they weren't playing anymore) brought me back to my elementary school days :0) I love and appreciate the new songs just as much though.
I spent $350 for 2 tickets and I would have spent double that for that experience. I was also in the video shoot the day before and waited 7hrs in the hot sun, with no water and food to get in. I would have waited another 7hrs. It was just UNREAL.
Slainte, Jen
