Just got back from the Glendale Arena here in Phoenix and let me tell you what a show!
There were no surprises in the setlist, the same setlist that they have been going through out the tour. Zoo Station was back, and Orignal of the Species is gone.
Opening song was Love and Peace!
Bono sounded amazing... I guess 4 days of rest to his voice, and he was all charged up for this show! The band was on top of their stuff.
Bono did not pick up anyone on the stage like in the previous shows. Actually he did pick up this one dude at the end of Zoo Station for 30 seconds, and then hugged him and sent him back. No girl dancing during Mysterious Ways!
The Crowd was into this one! Dispact the fact that Phoenix is a city of old people, U2 really got the crowd going, and during Streets, I could not even hear Bono, cause the crowd was so loud.
The sound quality was good, but it was loud, my ears are buzzing, this never happened during the Elevation Tour, but my ears are buzzing now.
Those curtain screens are amazing, it adds an amazing effect to the show!
Cant wait for November, got tix for the MGM @ Vegas, since they are not coming back to Phoenix!
