Ahhh-what a relief...much better than Ananheim. My 17th show and the first time I heard THE OCEAN. Awesome, Bono's mention of a radio station (92.3 ksjo) that had to leave us recently to join the great fm feed in the sky was a flashback. Bono joked before VERTIGO that this is "not the city to give spanish lessons". THE ELECTRIC CO. I haven't heard since April 87' THE JOSHUA TREE tour. I was really glad to hear Bono's very moving and realistic view of the Pope, saying "i didn't always agree w/everything he stood for but he was a great friend to the world's poor" something to that effect. A few times Bono said "sing Larry", is this something new for Our drummer? Does Edge need some help these days? Bono apolagized for babbling on a bit but I felt those are some great moments at a U2 show. Hope to enjoy tomorrow's show even more.
