First U2 concert. Awesome stage show and very entertaining! I hope thaqt the band reads this site. Listen clearly.... Opening band KOL really really sucked! The sound was so bad, too much bass with a terrible mix. Sound techs had to be deaf. I would think that U2 has the power to get a great opener, maybe they did it on purpose.
Overall impressive performance but would have loved to see them get the crowd into it a little more. When they came out there was so much pent-up excitment, seems as though after the third song their choice of music really slowed down things down.
Will go to the Oakland show.
