With so many solid songs in their cannon, it's inevitable that they don't play something you wish they had played. Having said that, no complaints whatsoever from this long time fan. This was night 3 of 8 from MSG and what an incredible show it was...from the opener "Miracle" to the closer "One". The band was tight and full of energy from start to finish. At just under 2 1/2 hours, the set list included a good mix of old and new. "Desire" (with a guest appearance from Jimmy Fallon) and "Angel of Harlem" (with a guest appearance from The Roots, Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show band) were very nice surprises, especially since both songs have not been played at every show. "Streets" (closer #2) was incredible...as always. Waiting months to see this band perform, it totally lived up to the hype...and some. As is the case with every one of their tours, there is nothing quite like seeing this band perform live. I brought my 16 year old son, who knew only a handful of songs, and he had a terrific time. I left this show wishing I had tickets to one of the remaining 5 MSG shows. It was that good. To Bono, The Edge, Adam, and Larry, thanks for giving it your all for 2 1/2 hours on a memorable Wednesday night in July in NYC.
