Just got home from the Sunday gig and what can you say except awesome! - even if there was a problem at the very end during ONE.
I've had the pleasure of seeing the band live since 87 and this is the first time I've seen them inside. Must say it suits them even more. I thought they were the best before now but after this they are in a league of their own.
Bono keeps the crowd in the palm of his throughout the show, he stands on the edge of the heart and only has to raise his arms to send the crowd into a frenzy.
What a way to start a show, Elevation raising the roof of the M.E.N. as did Streets and others. Great to hear Out of Control pity we didn't get Bad/40 the second night but can't expect the same set every time - they are not that predictable. Hopefully Tuesday in Birmingham ??
