This was my first U2 show. I was home from college on Spring Break and didn't even realize that they were playing on Long Island until I read it in Newsday. I just had to buy tickets and after some last minute finagling I got 'em.
I still get chills thinking about the lights going out, Zoo Station starting and seeing Bono's silhouette. Getting emotional just typing it out. Just an amazing show. I've seen them 10 times now, and I'd probably rate Elevation Vancouver and Vertigo Miami II higher overall, but that doesn't take away from how great this first show was. Been a fan going in for almost a decade, but seeing them live for the first time was otherworldly.
