The show was very good. Out of Control at the end was spectacular. Bono seemed a little out of it, running off the stage like he was sick or, as he later said, "faint." Maybe he has the flu? But it was a long show nonetheless. Zooropa was a highlight.
Still, while they play the hits, they seem to at times play very short and uninspired versions. Bono has cut the "shine like stars in the summer night" bit from WOWY. At times during the show, the audience was SUPER into it--as into it as any U2 show I've ever seen--singing along, but the band often didn't seize it, but ended the song quickly, particularly during Pride and WTSHNN.
Still, in all, a really great show. And what a huge crowd! Was it really 95,000?
