For clarity, it was The Edge and Larry who went out with Metallica and Green Day the night before where Edge admitted to having some fine tequila. Larry stated, "What happens at the G3, stays at the G3!" Bono was having dinner with a friend named John (to whom we later sang Happy Birthday to). Then during the next song, Edge and Bono follow out of sync when Bono expects to come in with a verse and Edge plays a little lick. Bono says, "Is that the tequila, Edge?"
What I loved about the show was how the bans could fill the stadium with sound (Elevation, Where the Streets), and in the next instant make me feel like I was listening to them in their own living room (Stay, Miss Sarajevo).
One last thing...loved the classic video footage from Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby tours.
