Berlin was an amazing experience. During the show it dawned upon my friend and me that it was exactly four years ago to the date that we had last watched U2 live (Copenhagen July 7th 2001).
I am also going to the Copenhagen and Munich shows and now I know that I should have very high expectations.
We were standing right next to the catwalk on the right and got these amazing pictures... Adam and Bono were frequent visitors with Larry choosing our side for Love and Peace or Else.
I particularly liked that they played Still Haven't Found... and All I Want Is You so early in the show. All in all it was a great set list. Hightlights for me were City of Blinding Lights and Pride turning into Streets. I just badly (!) want to hear Bad played live.
Standing outside the stadium before 3.30 pm was quite a teaser as we could hear the tests for Miracle Drug and Vertigo. They really knew how to get the audience ready. I was a bit disppointed with the organization of the general admission ticket holders. Everybod started running like crazy to get to the good spots, but were all blocked by the iron gates inside where your ticket was again inspected.
Anyways, enjoy the shows to come, my fellow U2 fans.
