ah the heady days of the late 80s.cork was a 5 hour drive from where i lived at the time and the coach was full of laughter and alcohol.corks gaa stadium was a bit rickety looking still is.the support wasnt bad.we were expecting to hear streets as the opener.wasnt on the set that day.didnt matter.the weather was good.edge had a birthday treat during the show and we were given an uplifting gig by the band.great memories.could the lads come back one last time.zoo tv was an eternity ago.was there too. love to u2.best reason in the world to be irish.
