Wow! What an amazing show! The selection of songs was great (although I probably would have preferred a slightly different order - you know, sprinkle the new songs throughout instead of frontloading the set). And I missed the "Ohio" comment, but having travelled up from Toledo, I probably would have appreciated hearing it. Maybe Bono was just trying to make us *all* feel welcome. Whatever, I thought the show was still great, probably even better than expected. For a thorough review of the show, check out Steve Cunningham's review. It's excellent! I only have a couple small points to add to what he's already said. First he left out "In A Little While" from the setlist. Dedicated to the late Joey Ramone, I believe it was played between "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "Desire". (By the way the acoustic version of "Desire" with the band all down at the tip of the heart was very cool!) Second, with regard to the inclusion of "Real Slim Shady" during "Bullet the Blue Sky", I must disagree with Steve's comment that this was "one of the lowest moments ever in U2 history". On the contrary, I thought the reference to Eminem (who sadly hails from the great state of Michigan) was a deliberate jab against the so-called artist, and that it was used satirically in the same vein as the video clip of Charlton Heston prior to the start of the song. Otherwise, the rest of Steve's review seems dead-on.
