The first night in Detroit was quite nice! The crowd seemed to be really into it (at least for a Detroit crowd), but the first thing that came to my mind after having seen the show was that I liked the setlist better than when I saw them in Chicago (I was at the May 10th show that was filmed for the DVD). Specifically, I thought With or Without You fit into the Vertigo show absolutely perfectly. It was also a very pleasant surprise to hear Walk On.
Some other random thoughts: I definitely love the way they've reworked Stuck in a Moment, and Yahweh is the most underrated live song they do. I Will Follow was also a nice touch to the Boy set.
But of course, nothing can top Streets. Ever.
