The show that night was amazing, electrifing, inspiring, uplifting, and full of heart and soul. I started out with seats in the loge, but a friend and I got past sucurity and got seats on the first level, parrallel with Adam. I thought the setlist was great, there wasn't one song that you could leave and go to the bathroom. When they played Where The Streets Have No Name, it was an out-of-body expierence, there was something else moving through us besides the music. Everyone standing, hands in the air, screaming for their own life as well as for u2. And of course when they played One, I has holding back tears. That Friday, I left for Ethiopia, I went to volunteer at Project Mercy, and I couldn't think of a better send-off. That was a really great week for me!
Another note, I had a Bono moment during the concert. I was being spontaneous and dancing in the isle, and bono saw me and did the same thing I was and smiled at me. It was a great moment. And at the end of Sometimes you Can't Make it .. when Bono did that little opera piece, that was so good! I knew Bono had a beautiful voice, but that was increadible, I didn't think it was him at first! I loved all the songs, the band was really at their best, overall it was a great concert!
