This was the first time I saw U2. The first warm-up band was a Philly band called 'the A's who had a great hit song called Woman's got the power '. The second band was Julian Cope's band "teardrop Explodes". I saw all 3 for $10. I still have my ticket stub. A great night of live music. The venue was only half full in new York city.
