Words can not explain this concert. But I'll try anyway, U2 simply but on an unbelievable show. From the entrance through the crowd to the very end the show was awesome.
Having attended game 7 of World Series I didn't think the crowds in Miami could get any more electric, but I was wrong, the atmosphere was at a fever pitch. U2 performed the songs brilliantly, mixing the new ones MOFO, Gone, Please and others with the classics I Will Follow, With or Without You, and New Years Day to name a few.
This was more than your ordinary concert, it was a performance of both sight and sound, the stage was phenomenal. The band sounded great, the background just added to an already outstanding show. When the band came out of the lemon/disco ball the crowd erupted, and the new techno version of Where The Streets Have No Name was something to remember. Edge singing Sunday Bloody Sunday on acoustic guitar was incredible, but I think the thing I'll remember most was the crowd singing Pride (In The Name of Love) even after Bono started his speech, we just kept singing the last verse.
So hats off to U2 they definetely rank up there with Bruce Springsteen as some of the greatest live performers in music today, and into tomorrow because there music is alway changing and out there on the cutting edge.
Thank you U2 for a memorable evening and a great concert, simply one of the best, if not the very best.
