This was a really great show. Each song was great and I felt that Bono's voice was strong and clear. Gloria was excellent to hear and I was excited to also get to hear a great version of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. Original of the Species was much better than earlier live versions I had heard before. It seemed like Bullet the Blue Sky and Pride still held their own and were quite powerful. Every song played tonight was very strong.
Bono was very active, as usual, but did seem to be even more active than usual. He was all over the place, joking with Larry about dance moves and asking the girl he pulled on stage to spit out her gum in his hand. Adam was actually more reserved than when I saw them in Chicago last spring. But, overall, the band did a great job connecting with the GA floor fans, most of which were throughly frozen after sitting out all day in subzero temperatures.
I saw the Saturday Chicago show earlier in the tour and this show was better overall. I left the show being very impressed with it. This show ranks up with some of the best U2 shows I have seen over the years.
