For my wife and I, this was our first U2 show, as we have only become fans over the last couple of years. I have to say it was hands down the best show either of us have ever been to. The light show was out of this world and the curtains of light that dropped down really added to the whole show.
One thing I really found interesting, was how the band really knows how to connect with thier audience. I mean there were times, like during 'One', that I was holding back tears because I was so moved by the whole experience.
The boys seemed really to enjoy themselves and sounded like they were playing fresh tunes, even after a long tour.
It was a great night, even though we had to drive 4 hours one way up to Cleveland from Dayton. As we made the southeren journey home, the lonely and snow laden highways at 2am laid a fitting back drop to the sweet sounds 'War', 'The Joshua Tree', and 'All That You Can't Leave Behind'.
