Oh My God!! What a day??!! I think I could write an entire essay on my day, the 15th of December, 2005 - I'd have to write since I can't talk today. My husband and I got into the ellipse!! What a memory??!! How can that ever be beat?
"Sunday Bloody Sunday" brought tears to my eyes. The little girl pumping her fist was just beautiful and too damn cute! The crowd made me SO proud to be a Nebraskan.
GA tickets are definitely the way to go - feet hurt but the memories will be there forever. We met so many cool people but Larry from Chicago took the cake. Larry came to Omaha on a "business trip" that just happened to coincide with the Vertigo concert - this being his 3rd one. He's been lucky so far with GA tickets and this one was no exception getting into the ellipse with us. Thanks for a great time and sharing all of your tips with us Larry!!
Kanye West was a pleasant surprise. "Jesus Walks" was super cool. I'm glad the crowd was opened minded and I think he was able to turn a lot of heads.
Thanks U2 for the fantastic memories. This one will last forever coupled with our last trip to Zoo TV in 1992. U2 is unbeatable.
