Well, after waiting almost 4 hrs. to try to meet the band when they arrived, I had to settle for watching the limos arriving with them waving inside. They didn't get to the arena 'till 7:00, so they didn't come out to do autographs. Maybe I'll get my chance again in another 14 yrs. Met some really great people though.
No Doubt was awesome. Very high energy. This was their last show on this tour. Then the boys came out. I was kind of apprehensive about our seats (directly behind the stage first row), but the view was unbelievable. It was like seeing them at a club. I won't go into details about the songs, except that Bono and Edge did an acoustic version of In God's Country and Please. Bono seemed like he was tired or maybe not feeling well. From where I was sitting he looked pale (maybe it was just the lighting or something). But the show was awesome; U2 never fails to deliver. The highlight for me was when Adam was over by Larry in between songs taking a break. We were trying to get his attention and he looked directly at us and smiled and gave us a little wave. That was the coolest; he is so adorable. I feel so blessed to have been able to see them twice on this tour (I know some people have seen them a lot more though). They have been a big part of my life for 14 yrs. now. I wish them all the best.....Peace on earth.
