This was my third Elevation show, and it was the best! I finally got a floor ticket, and it put a whole new perspective on the show. I felt like a sardine as the concert started, and when Bono made his way out to the tip of the heart, it was crunch time! I got to know a lot of new people; if not by name, by their smell, eye color, etc.
My favorite song of the night was "Bullet the Blue Sky" because Edge's guitar malfunctioned, and Bono improvised some lyrics so that Edge could fix the problem and then belt out the most angry, gut-wrenching solo I've ever heard from him. I loved that! "In God's Country" was also a highlight- I've always loved that song.
U2 is an amazing band in that the guys are true professionals, always giving a great show to the fans who come out to see them. It has to be hard to do that three or four times a week, but they seem to get better as the tour goes on- hats off!
