Three of my friends drove with me from Tuscaloosa, AL to Lexington without tickets, and ended up getting floor seats the day of the show and having the most amazing concert experience of our lives! We got in line about 3:30 and when we got inside, I raced to the tip of the heart. Two of the girls joined me there while my other two friends decided to go into the heart. PJ Harvey was excellent, if not a little loud, and I really liked her sound. I got to meet a really cool security guard who took care of some drunk jerks who were being a pain for some of the folks behind us, and I got to grab Bono's hand! Here's what happened: He stepped out onto the platform at the tip of the heart during Edge's solo during Until the End of the World, and reached out and grabbed my hand. I shook it and then was about to release it so that others could share, but he held on and looked down at me. He mouthed the words, "Hold Me" and I wasn' t about to disobey!!! I held on to him as he reached out to the rest of the fans and then he sang some while he was standing there, with me grasping his hand and keeping him balanced!!! Later on, he grabbed a girls hand who was right behind me and kissed it several times ( I think it was during The Fly). I really liked the camera policy at the shows, and I liked the standing room atmosphere on the floor. Highlights:Bono acting like a jockey during New York in honor of the Derby. Bono took an Irish flag from the audience and proclaimed: "I can now do this and not feel ashamed" ( or something like that ) and carried the flag like Rhett Butler carried Scarlet O'Hara up the stairs in Gone with the Wind. The Edge was amazing, but there were some strange sounds during Mysterious Ways. The tech crew quickly fixed it though. The band was tight, they played a shorter set list but there was more energy here because Rupp only holds 16,000(the floor was tiny compared to Phillips Arena). The whole show was amazing, and my friends are still floating on cloud 9 with me...like Bono said during the end of Walk On...HALLEJUIAH!
