Simply put, this show rocked! I went o see them in St. Louis in 1997, and was little disappointed by the sheer size of the venue, but the Elevation tour has returned to a more intimate setting to spectacular effect.
I liked the way the band launched in to Elevation with the house lights up-it gave one a chance to see the sheer excitement in the room. Stay (Far Away So Close) was a definite hightlight of the night along with Bad. When The Edge launched into the first notes of Bad, the entire place errupted in a defening roar. One of the best things about this show was as I mentioned the intimate feel. Bono spent most of the concert out on the heart-shaped stage-extension, and in characteristic style, made it a point to connect up close with the fans. If they come within a day's drive of your area, you owe it to yourself to be there.
