All I can say is Wow!! Tickets were only sold over the phone, so My friend Jeff Etherington and I Went to my parents office where they had two lines. We hit the flash and redial buttons for 45 min straight. then 5 min before the concert was sold out, I luckily got through! I had recently seen Sting and Depeche Mode and nothing could compare!
The stage was amazing with tv's everywhere. We worked our way very close - thanks to Jeff, now we could realy see the show! I remember that between Songs, Bono Said "Look What we got for Christmas." Then He pointed to his huge aray of Tv's. Then he took a remote controll and started channel surfing. Bono stoped on QVC, where they were selling diamonds. He then picked up a phone (which was amplified to the crowd) and called. He told the QVC phone operator, "I want a diamond the size of my belly-Button!" Bono Rocks!! U2 puts on more than a concert, its a production. By far the best concert I have ever seen. And here is a list:
Stevie Wonder (I was only 9 with parents)
Howard Jones
Pearl Jam/Nirvana/Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Sting - The Soul Cages
Depeche Mode - Violator
Morissey
Oingo Boingo
U2- Zoo TV
U2- Zoo TV - Outside Broadcast
Dave Matthews Band - Before These Crowded St.
Sting - New Day
Depeche Mode - Exciter
U2 - Nov, 9th - Elevation!!!!!!!!(Third Time)
