This was the second concert I have been to this tour and third overall (first was 1997 PopMart Tour). This concert was just incredible. We waited from 8:30 am on the GA line and were rewarded with an awesome spot right in front of the Edge. Wow! The boys were in rare form and seemed to really be enjoying the show and the crowd. The C'ville crowd in the inner circle was really into the show and I think the band really played off that energy. I thought the band's choice of songs was great. Of course I would have liked to hear a hundred other U2 songs but that doesn't take away from the ones they played. All the songs were great and hearing them live just adds to the enjoyment. U2 is definitely a band that sounds so great live that anything they play is wonderful. I thought the addition of Your Blue Room to this leg of the tour was terrific! It's beauty really came out in the live setting and the fans around me seemed to really enjoy it. While I love the original version of Crazy, the remix version really gets the audience going and allows all the fans to see Larry come out from behind that drum kit! Highlights for me were Streets, Ultraviolet and MLK and COBL. Charlottesville was a night I will never forget. Hope they tour again in the US next year!
